The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Project Delivery team based in Kurnell (2231). In this pivotal role, you'll provide exceptional administrative support, document control, and record maintenance, ensuring project success through your excellent organisational and financial skills.

You will be responsible for monitoring costs, processing invoices, and optimising cash flow, revenue, and profitability. You will also support the development of procedures to streamline project cost control, participate in project health reviews, and partner with Project Managers to identify improvement opportunities. Your customer centric approach and effective communication skills will enable you to liaise with stakeholders, understand their needs, and resolve issues promptly.

What you'll be responsible for


  • Project Coordination: Support project development and delivery from initiation to completion. 
  • Financial Reporting: Be well-versed in financial reporting processes and assist with tracking project progress and variations. 
  • Documentation Management: Ensure effective document control and maintain up-to-date project files. 
  • Communication/Relationship: Foster strong working relationships with team members, suppliers, and external parties. 
  • Administrative Support: Attend meetings, take minutes, process invoices, and recommend process improvements. 
  • Safety: Prioritise personal well-being, lead by example in safety practices, and conduct safety inspections.

What you'll need to be successful



  • Proven track record in a similar role 
  • Experience in project cost control and coordination
  • Tertiary qualification (in field related to Finance/Accounting/Business/Commerce/Engineering) preferred 
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills
