The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a Pipeline Coordinator to manage maintenance activities, operate a small scale water treatment plant, and deliver capital projects for the Sydney Desalination Plant pipeline infrastructure.
As the Pipeline Coordinator, you'll coordinate essential maintenance and capital projects whilst serving as the primary liaison with landowners, local councils, and Sydney Water. This role also includes operating a small scale water treatment plant at Cronulla. You'll need strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

What you'll be responsible for
- Operate small scale water treatment plant at Cronulla, including monitoring water quality and treatment processes
- Conduct regular inspections, operational checks and maintenance coordination for treatment plant equipment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate operational logs and documentation
- Coordinate and schedule pipeline maintenance activities and capital delivery projects
- Liaise with landowners, local councils, and Sydney Water regarding pipeline and plant operations
- Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and manage risks arising from maintenance and operational activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular stakeholder updates
What you'll need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent project coordination experience preferred
- Proven experience coordinating pipeline maintenance and capital projects
- Experience with water treatment preferred
- Strong knowledge of pipeline operations and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts and stakeholder relationships
