Title:  Maintenance Supervisor

The Opportunity

Veolia is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of ten at Sydney's Kurnell Desalination Plant — one of the most important pieces of water infrastructure in the country. 

This is a hands on role responsible for making sure planned and breakdown maintenance gets done safely, on time and to a high standard. You'll look after your team, liaise with contractors, keep the CMMS up to date and report to the plant management team.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead, coach and develop a team of ten maintenance technicians
• Oversee delivery of preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance
• Champion safety culture and Veolia permit systems across the team
• Drive CMMS best practice — assigning, reviewing and analysing maintenance data
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage supplier performance
• Contribute to maintenance budgets, reporting and client communications

What you'll need to be successful

• A trade or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical or a related field
• Leadership Experience
• Experience in water, wastewater or process plant environments
