We're looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our SHEQ team and become a trusted partner to our operational leaders in Kurnell 2231. This is a predominantly field based role (80% of your time), meaning you'll be where it matters most — on site, building relationships, influencing behaviours, and driving real safety outcomes.
This isn't a tick and flick compliance role. It's a genuine opportunity to shape safety culture, mentor frontline teams, and make a measurable difference across our operations.

What you'll be responsible for
- Conducting inspections, audits and walk-throughs to monitor compliance with company, client and legislative requirements
- Coaching and supporting operational teams to identify, address and close out safety findings
- Facilitating incident investigations and risk assessments
- Delivering SHEQ training and toolbox talks
- Supporting the development and maintenance of site safety management plans
- Implementing drug & alcohol testing programs
- Monitoring and reporting on safety performance and key risk factors
- Collaborating with operations on the safe installation and use of new equipment
What you'll need to be successful
- Formal qualification in OH&S or significant hands-on experience in a comparable safety role
- Solid working knowledge of relevant safety legislation, including Chain of Responsibility
- Demonstrated experience implementing safety management systems
