The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our Operations team on the Sydney Desalination Plant Contract in Kurnell 2231. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and implementing best practice asset management strategies while managing client relationships and expectations.

As Asset Manager, you will lead a team accountable for:
- Developing and implementing Asset Management Plans (AMPs) for the operation & maintenance of the Sydney Desalination Plant and Pipeline
- Leading the maintenance and asset management support team with a focus on innovation and proactive culture
- Managing the Maintenance Management System and ensuring asset registers are maintained
- Developing long term asset management strategies to minimise whole of life costs while maximising plant availability and reliability
- Preparing cost effective preventative maintenance schedules aligned with best practice
- Planning and delivering plant shutdowns and turnarounds
- Analysing maintenance performance against KPIs, budgets and forecasts
- Acting as key interface with client stakeholders on strategic asset management decisions
- Ensuring compliance with Safety, Environment and Quality management systems
What you'll need to be successful
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management or equivalent workplace experience
- Proven leadership experience in asset management and maintenance
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance management systems
- Water or wastewater treatment experience highly regarded
