The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ is seeking a talented Asset Engineer to join our Water team at the Sydney Desalination Plant in Kurnell, 2231 NSW. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of critical assets, contributing to the plant's overall reliability and performance.

What you'll be responsible for

 

 

  • Maintain accurate asset registers and conduct performance analysis using CMMS (Maximo) and Tableau
  • Lead asset management reviews (maintenance, RAM, RCFA, critical spares, capital) and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage configuration change processes and contribute to capital asset replacement programs
  • Provide CMMS expertise and act as a technical champion for the system
  • Collaborate with Asset Management and Operations teams to achieve holistic engineering outcomes
  • Contribute to maintenance strategies, condition monitoring programs, and asset management documentation
  • Prepare and analyse monthly KPI reports and other internal/external reporting as required
  • Ensure compliance with Veolia's Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, Mechanical, or relevant discipline
  • Strong technical background in chemical, mechanical, or electrical disciplines
  • Asset Management or Industrial operations experience 
  • Proficiency in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
