Role Purpose:
As an Asset Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting Veolia's asset management system and team at the Sydney Desalination Plant. Your primary focus will be ensuring that assets function and perform at their optimum level, enabling the plant to produce high quality drinking water that consistently meets or exceeds standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate and up to date asset register in the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Conduct whole of life asset assessments and performance analysis
- Lead configuration change management processes
- Contribute to capital asset and replacement programs
- Participate in continuous improvement and maintenance engineering projects
- Provide CMMS expert advice and act as a technical champion
- Lead and complete minor projects under the Asset Manager's direction
- Contribute to the development of maintenance strategies and programs
- Oversee condition monitoring and assessment programs for site assets
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality requirements

What We Offer
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications in maintenance, mechanical, or asset management
- Experience in asset management or industrial operations
- Working knowledge of chemical, mechanical, or electrical tasks
- Experience with CMMS and Tableau (desirable)
