The Opportunity

 

Join our dynamic Environmental Services team at Veolia ANZ as a Trades Assistant in Kilburn, 5084- SA. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of environmental sustainability while developing your skills in a supportive and innovative workplace.

 

Work Schedule:

 

Monday - Thursday : 11:00 - 19:00

Friday - 8:00 - 16:00

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Maintain clean, organised, and safe work environments

  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure workplace safety

  • Provide crucial assistance to Mechanics in their daily operations

  • Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks under supervision

  • Demonstrate strong self-management skills in handling assigned projects

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Welding experience

  • Automotive Industry background highly desirable

  • HR and forklift licence is highly desirable

  • Able to work without supervision 

  • Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • A supportive and safety-focused work environment

  • A strong safety focus
