The Opportunity

 

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Technical Services Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team in Kilburn, 5084. As the Technical Services Supervisor you’ll play a critical role to ensure facilities are maintained in order to safeguard technical integrity, assist in developing strategies to improve reliability, efficiency and safety.

 

You will be working with across two unique treatment plants, which provide a constant variety of tasks. The operational teams are very supportive and your work will make visible improvements as we continue to update our plants.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Ongoing preventative and reactive maintenance for 2 treatment plants

  • Writing, implementing and supervising maintenance strategies for fixed plant and equipment

  • Reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and assist with developing strategies to improve overall reliability and safety

  • Assist and supervise delivery of maintenance and commissioning procedures

  • Monitoring, reporting and controlling maintenance costs

  • Maintain records for all maintenance and repair work completed

  • Provide technical advice and support as required to the relevant teams

  • Participate in technical reviews for engineering works

  • Controlling maintenance tools, spare parts stores and equipment

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Demonstrated experience in executing fixed plant preventative and reactive maintenance

  • Forklift licence and working at heights and confined space tickets are highly desirable

  • Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • A strong safety focus
