Title: Administrator - Health & Safety

The Opportunity
In this role you will work closely with, and provide H&S administration assistance and support to the Energy, Refractories and Industrial Services divisions. You will also be tasked with coordinating H&S support activities, including, but not limited to, managing our H&S databases and supporting systems frameworks, and training and mentoring on the same. You will work closely with an experienced established team and be part of a broader national H&S Team.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based on-site in our Kilburn office.

What you'll be responsible for

Coordinate H&S license renewals, maintain safety processes, and manage training programs for personnel

Complete reporting, audits, and database management in accordance with Veolia guidelines

Monitor legislative changes and assist with implementing initiatives to address regulatory requirements

Conduct environmental risk assessments, support ISO14001 certification, and investigate environmental incidents

Provide professional documentation, correspondence, and analysis on H&S trends and environmental compliance

Management of pre and ongoing medicals and training database requirements
What you'll need to be successful

Previous experience in an Administrative or a Health & Safety role (desirable)

Tech-savvy mindset with eagerness to learn new databases

Qualifications in H&S related disciplines and/or a desire to obtain a minimum of Certificate 4 in Work Health Safety and Rehabilitation and Return to Work Certificate

Forklift Licence (desirable)
