The Opportunity
As the Pricing/Finance Analyst, you'll join our dynamic Commercial Finance team providing comprehensive financial analysis and support for tender processes across National and State operations. This role combines commercial acumen with analytical expertise to drive value through sound financial modelling and decision support.

What you'll be responsible for
- Lead the preparation and development of commercial models and pricing strategies for National/State tenders
- Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting, and support budget processes
- Ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and review contribution margins
- Identify and implement profitability initiatives across the business
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide financial mentoring to team members
- Develop and prepare commercial models, pricing methodologies and strategies for National/State tenders
- Analyse cost base and key drivers to inform pricing decisions
- Collaborate with State Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to gather tender inputs
- Participate in tender meetings and submit pricing sheets and financial models
- Validate master data and ensure all financial requirements are met
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging existing business practices
What you'll need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Business with CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
- Proven experience in commercial financial analysis with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SAP, TM1, Excel and G-suite (desired)
- Strong analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Collaborative approach with ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
