The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our National Health Sales team. Reporting to the National Sales & Business Development Manager - Health, you will be accountable for managing a diverse portfolio of state based private hospital groups, residential aged care groups, pathology groups, and biopharma manufacturing companies. With a key focus in growing and supporting our clinical waste business unit, key responsibilities include identifying additional growth opportunities, developing and driving continuous innovation, and contract management adherence to KPI’s.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Manage and grow a comprehensive healthcare portfolio across private hospitals, aged care facilities, pathology groups, and biopharma manufacturers

  • Provide strategic support to our Victorian clinical waste division through customer retention and baseline revenue expansion

  • Identify and capitalise on additional growth opportunities within existing and new market segments

  • Develop and implement continuous innovation strategies to enhance service delivery for current customers

  • Ensure contract compliance and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts

What you'll need to be successful

  • Proven experience in key account management, preferably within the healthcare or waste management sectors

  • Strong business development and sales acumen with a track record of achieving targets

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills

  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail with a proactive, self-starting approach.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a track record of identifying and delivering innovative solutions to customers.

  • Understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements

  • Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth

  • Results-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
