The Opportunity


 

North West Alliance Pty Ltd is a partnership between global environmental services company, Veolia Environmental Services (Australia) Pty Ltd and Palyku Traditional Owner investment group, Emu Nest Holdings. North West Alliance operates throughout the Pilbara region of Western Australia, delivering total waste management services directly to our customers and the region. The business operates within the Veolia ANZ management structures, is part of and heavily supported by the broader Veolia Western Australia business unit.  


As our Regional Manager for North West Alliance, you will lead the waste operations in this region to
deliver safe, reliable and efficient services to our customers. Based in Karratha (6714), you will be responsible for full P&L management and overall financial performance of our sites and business units by maximising revenues, minimising costs and ensuring adequate resourcing and optimal utilisation of people and equipment. Your skill in working collaboratively with major clients, identifying more efficient processes and operational efficiencies will be key to your overall success.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Undertake the recruitment, management, development and utilisation of human resources to meet current and future business requirements
  • Forecast and manage the labour and equipment requirements of the region in consultation with the operations managers
  • Manage the operational performance of internal resources and subcontractors
  • Engage regularly with senior client management to promote the business capabilities and present solutions to client issues
  • Maintain clear communication between all key stakeholders
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant industry experience in a similar management role
  • Experience in managing P&L as well as deliverables regarding health and safety, productivity, quality and schedule outcomes
  • Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, problem solving and communications skills.
