The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a Mechanical Technician to be based full time in Karratha 6714. Within this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants/assets at client sites throughout the Pilbara.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Operate and maintain treatment plants and equipment according to standard procedures
- Monitor plant operations and assist in plant optimisation
- Conduct water quality sampling and manage documentation
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance duties
- Liaise with and supervise contractors as required
- Manage resources, tools, and equipment to maintain operations
- Ensure a risk-based approach to operations and maintenance
- Generate client and internal reports
- Occasional evening and weekend work, as well as regular travel within the Pilbara region, including overnight stays
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in water treatment operations
- Mechanical qualifications - trade or equivalent
- Understanding of mechanical equipment and safety/environmental issues
