We're seeking Expressions of Interest for an Operations Supervisor to join our JV and to lead our professional driving team. 
 

You'll coordinate service deliveries, champion safety, and drive continuous improvement and effective problem-solving. 
 

With your strong leadership skills and proactive approach to HSE management, you'll ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining the highest safety standards. 
 

This role has flexibility to be based in Karratha, Newman, Port Hedland or be FIFO but initial training will be in Karratha.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Assisting in the coordination of service deliveries through the supervision of drivers
  • Managing and resolving occupational health and safety and environmental issues
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to all stakeholders
  • Managing drivers and ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Proactively review route performance to identify route optimisation and improvement opportunities
  • Developing a safety first and continuous improvement culture
  • Problem solve by responding to issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • A background in logistics is desirable
  • Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations. 
  • Sound analytic skills and ability to read reports 
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • Good computer skills
  • A strong safety focus
