The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is currently looking for 2 experienced Industrial Service Operators to join the operations team in Port Pirie and help support the industrial cleaning division.

We are looking for someone with water blasting experience (UHP&HP) and qualification, has vacuum loading experience and a HR license. Along with this we are interested in applicants who work well in a team, have a positive attitude and a safety culture mindset.

The roles available are full time, Monday to Friday. You would typically work a 38 hour week starting at 7am each day however overtime is available after hours, on weekends and for call outs.

In this role you'll discover

Great people... and a company that cares
From your teammates in operations, to colleagues and partners across Veolia, you’ll find people who care about doing a good job. And you’ll belong in a company that truly cares - about the customer, the community, the environment... and you.

‘Team’ works here - it’s who we are
Reporting to the Site supervisor, you’ll work closely with a small team, as well as various suppliers and contractors. And you’ll learn from them, as much as they learn from you.

Stimulation and challenge, delivered
While ‘Operations’ is about process and rhythm, you’ll find plenty of variety in your role. In addition to operating the plant, you’ll play a key role in measuring and reporting the facility’s output, maintaining a robust safety culture and identifying more efficient ways of working that don’t compromise safety or quality.

Opportunity and growth, there for the taking
In this role, you’ll be trained across a number of concrete skills for the job in hand. Many of our Operators have continued to progress their career with us, moving into supervisor, manager and site manager roles.
