The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner to join a motivated and fast paced team where you will be providing professional HR advice to our Waste and Industrials line of business across Western Australia. This will be on a 12 month fixed term contract working out of our South Perth office.

You will be working as part of the broader People & Safety team which has an important role in contributing to the wider business agenda. The HR Business Partner is accountable for partnering, supporting and coaching leaders, and presenting solutions that enable leaders to be successful.

You’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Human Resources) or an HR specific certification (e.g. Cert IV in HR Management) and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role (industrial/blue collar environment is desirable)
  • Experience in agreement negotiation is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching others including leaders and employees continually developing their skills
  • High level problem solving skills with the ability to identify issues, think creatively and recommend strategies, ideas and opportunities for resolution
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from HR metrics to inform business decision making
  • A results orientated outlook, along with the ability to operate autonomously and problem solve
