The Opportunity


We have a great opportunity for a Liquid Tanker Driver to join our team in Kilburn - SA. In this role, you will collect and transport liquid waste and sludges from a customer’s premises and deliver to an authorised licensed waste disposal depot in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with service agreements. You will also Maintain vehicles in safe and operational order and will complete vehicle checks in accordance with safe operating procedures.
 
It is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a supportive and friendly team. This will be Monday to Friday 4.30 am start and there is generally some overtime available. 
 
In your day-to-day activities, you’ll comply with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulations and fatigue requirements. In the long run, you’ll contribute to a sustainable future for Australia. 
 

You’ll need:

 

  • Unrestricted HR Truck Licence
  • Previous experience operating and driving a HR vehicle
  • A responsible and strong work ethic
  • A professional presentation and manner with a dedicated customer service focus
  • Pride in the maintenance and presentation of equipment
  • A solid commitment to safety
  • Previous waste and/ or bulk liquid transport experience (desirable)

In addition to operating the plant, you’ll play a key role in measuring and reporting the facility’s output, maintaining a robust safety culture and identifying more efficient ways of working that don’t compromise safety or quality.

    In this role, you’ll be trained across a number of concrete skills for the job in hand. Many of our team leads have continued to progress their career with us, moving into management positions.
