The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Scaffolder in our Industrial and Energy Business Unit in Perth. Working in a close-knit, motivated team, you’ll perform scaffolding tasks, and provide a range of support services to reach operational goals. In your day-to-day activities, you’ll comply with, and promote, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and Site Safe Operating Procedures. And in the long run, you’ll contribute to a sustainable future for Australia.

You’ll need to be successful:

  • Advanced HRWL Scaffolding
  • Current Working at Heights within the last 2 years
  • Current Working in confined space within the last 2 years
  • VOC within the last 2 years for current HRWL level or allow time to obtain one
  • Experience in day-to-day scaffolding activities
  • Integrity and a positive attitude 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management 
  • Fitness
  • Motivation to learn and grow within a team environment

  • Reporting directly to the Scaffolding Site Manager you’ll work in the Worsley South 32 site alongside other Veolia Employees. You’ll learn from your team mates, as much as they’ll learn from you.

    Your day-to-day work will centre around performing scaffolding activities following Site Safe Operating Procedures.

    In this role, you’ll be trained across a number of concrete skills for the job in hand. Many of our scaffolders  have continued to progress their career with us, moving into a variety of roles across the business.
