The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a maintenance technician to join our water team based in the Illawarra region 2526. As the maintenance technician you will be responsible for maintenance and projects at the Woronora and Illawarra Water Filtration Plant as well as the Gerringong Gerroa Sewerage scheme.

What You'll be Responsible for


  • Completing maintenance and projects on water and wastewater equipment across three operational sites.
  • Overseeing contractors including quotes, performance, providing site information and compliance with safety standards. 
  • Troubleshooting electrical problems with plant, equipment and processes ensuring a functional CMMS system.
  • Effective liaison with operations, maintenance and project teams. 

What You'll Need to be Successful


  • Trade qualifications (Electrical).
  • Experience in the maintenance of LV and HV electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of water or wastewater industry is desirable but not essential.
