The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Industrials & Energy WA team at our Protective Coating facility in Henderson. This role is critical in supporting project managers and field teams in the successful execution of protective coating projects, ensuring effective communication, documentation, scheduling, and administrative support to keep projects on track, on budget, and meeting quality standards.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, timelines, and status reports

  • Manage contracts,, compliance documentation, and project closeout reports

  • Coordinate schedules with field teams, subcontractors, and material suppliers

  • Serve as primary contact between office and field teams, facilitating communication with project managers, clients, and vendors

  • Monitor project budgets, process invoices and purchase orders, and prepare cost reports

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain safety documentation

  • Coordinate site logistics, equipment staging, and vendor management

What you'll need to be successful

  • 10+ years' experience in industry with 5+ years in a similar role

  • Trade Qualification

  • Project Coordination/Management/Planning experience

  • NACE/AMPP 2 certification

  • Proficient in Microsoft Projects/Primavera

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • SAP experience

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Proactive problem-solving approach

  • Keen attention to detail
