The Opportunity

Veolia is ANZ’s largest environmental service provider. We have an exciting opportunity for an Human Resources Business Partner for our Waste HR team, based out of Shepparton.

Working in a motivated team, you’ll provide Industrial Relations advice to our Waste line of business while also providing HR life cycle support to our managers, you will also assist with onboarding new leaders within the business and have excellent stakeholder management skills. Together with our Safety Advisors you will assist with maximising company safety performance through engagement, investigation and continuous improvement. The role is 50% field based out of regional Victoria.

You’ll need:

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Human Resources) or equivalent or an HR specific certification (e.g. Cert IV in HR Management)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role preferably at Senior Advisor or BP level with proven experience in ER, IR and OHS
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching others including leaders and employees continually developing their skills
  • High level problem solving skills with the ability to identify issues, think creatively and recommend strategies, ideas and opportunities for resolution. Not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from HR metrics to inform business decision making
