The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking an experienced Trade Assistant to join the Veolia team on an initial 12 week project based in the Gold coast region.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Assisting tradespeople to prepare surfaces using abrasive blasting and high-pressure water blasting along with mechanical methods.
- Area setup and cleanup activities
- Learning and developing painting and blasting skills by assisting qualified and experienced tradespeople.
- Ensuring quality workmanship on all jobs
- Drive the ‘Always Safe’ Culture
What you’ll need to be successful
- Experience within construction or blue-collar roles. Industrial Painting & Blasting experience highly regarded.
- Current drivers licence
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong communication skills and willingness to develop new skills
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices
- Ability to work both in teams and independently
