Title:  Fleet Supervisor

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Fleet Supervisor to join our team based in  Molendinar. As the Fleet Supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the operations of a fleet of collections vehicles servicing the City of Gold Coast transfer stations and landfill network.

What you'll be responsible for

• Managing the daily operations to ensure resource allocation and job completion 
• Supervising the team across recruitment, training, staffing and performance management 
• Driving continual improvement of processes and procedure
• Ensuring customer expectations are exceeded
• Overseeing purchasing and suppliers
• Ensuring safety standards are maintained
• Managing and resolving occupational health, safety and environmental issues
• Assisting the workshop team with coordination of the ongoing maintenance and repairs of your fleet 
• Liaising with council staff at council operated sites

What you'll need to be successful

• Experience in waste preferable
• Prior experience supervising or managing a large team is desirable
• Experience in the Transport and Logistics industry essential
• HC License 
• Experience with hook lift trucks (desirable) 
• Be computer confident
• Value an always safe culture
• Skilled in or the ability to acquire skills in systems such as Echo, Vams, Rivo, Kronos, SAP. 
• The ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
