Title:  On-Site Service Coordinator - Curtis Island

The Opportunity


 

Veolia ANZ is looking for a highly skilled On-Site Service Coordinator to join the team at Curtis Island 4680. This is a hands-on, operational role with the main purpose to coordinate all site activities around the collection, disposal, and management of waste and recycling streams generated from the APLNG site at Curtis Island.


As the On-Site Service Coordinator you are responsible for ensuring all staff are adequately inducted, informed, trained and supervised to be able to perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner. You would be required to actively demonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure effective planning and organisation is in place for the management and removal of waste streams from Curtis Island.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Supervision of all staff on site, including inductions, training and ensuring they are working safely and efficiently 
  • Coordination of all waste removal from the site by barge
  • Advise customer on regulatory requirements and service capability
  • Manage the vehicles around the site 
  • Responsible for accurate completion of all paperwork and reporting  
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • HR Drivers License mandatory
  • Forklift Licence mandatory
  • Experience in waste management highly desirable 
  • Previous experience leading and working in small teams
  • Ability to manage customer requests through to completion
  • Contractor management experience
  • Problem solving ability
  • Cert IV in Frontline Management or equivalent experience managing teams (desirable) or relevant experience
  • Cert III in Waste Management or equivalent industry experience (desirable) or relevant experience
