The Opportunity

Based permanently in Geraldton, you'll take charge of daily site operations, managing a dedicated team of approximately 6 staff. 


This role focuses on driver coordination and incident management, monthly SHEQ reporting. & toolboxes ensuring smooth operational excellence.

This is a Monday to Friday  9 am - 5pm Site based role in Geraldton with on-call for out of hours issues.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Manage daily fleet and driver scheduling

  • Responsible for all site operations, including reporting on financial performance and reviewing operating costs

  • Coordinate driver documentation and safety

  • Lead team training and safety meetings

  • Ensure HSE compliance

  • Process maintenance and supply orders

  • Track and report incidents

  • Foster safety culture and customer service excellence

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery whilst maintaining customer service requirements

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • HR licence desirable 

  • An understanding of the waste industry or transport and logistics industry

  • Demonstrable experience of team management

  • Experience in submitting and presenting detailed responses to customers' commercial and operational requests and reporting
