The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Technician to join our team at the Rosehill Recycled Water Treatment Scheme in Fairfield, 2165. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the effective and optimal operation and maintenance of the plant, meeting all required quality, reliability, and safety targets.

What you'll be responsible for
- Undertake all operational and maintenance requirements of the plant to ensure contractual requirements are met and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved
- Monitor plant operations and assist in plant commissioning, optimisation, monitoring, and reporting on status, condition, and performance of plant systems
- Troubleshoot problems with plant equipment and process, and take corrective actions to prevent WHS hazards, maintain product quality, and prevent loss of production or damage to equipment and assets
- Maintain records, produce reports, and update all information systems as required
- Participate in a scheduled on call or planned overtime roster
- Monitor plant performance after hours using SCADA dial in facility
- Attend the plant out of hours as required to ensure the plant is performing satisfactorily
What you'll need to be successful
- Electrical Trades Qualification/Certificate
- Experience in water treatment operations (desirable)
