The Opportunity

 

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Territory Manager to join our Environmental Services team based in Emerald. Managing a portfolio of approximately 200–300 SME customers across Emerald and the surrounding region, you'll focus on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and retention, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role combines customer-facing relationship management with a strong administrative and systems focus, ensuring customers are set up for success from quote through to service delivery.

What you'll be responsible for

 

 

  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of SME customers across Emerald and the surrounding region

  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, secure new business and support customer retention

  • Visit customer sites across Emerald and the surrounding region to build strong relationships, identify growth opportunities and provide tailored waste management solutions

  • Prepare quotations, complete online risk assessments and accurately manage customer information within internal systems

  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to ensure customer accounts are set up correctly and services are activated seamlessly

  • Monitor customer activity, analyse system data and resolve issues to ensure an outstanding customer experience

  • Work closely with Operations to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Exceptional administration skills and outstanding attention to detail are essential.

  • Experience in customer service, sales support, account management or an emerging sales role, with the opportunity to further develop your sales capability through structured training and ongoing support.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a customer-first approach

  • Confidence working across multiple systems and accurately managing customer information

  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work autonomously

  • Experience within the waste, logistics or transport industries is advantageous but not essential
