The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team in Echuca (3564). In this hands-on role, you'll oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate and ensure your team has everything they need to work safely and efficiently.

You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly across multiple sites, solving problems on the go, and driving a strong safety culture. If you're an experienced leader with a background in waste operations or a similar field, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be responsible for

• Communicating accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders

• Travelling across 12 sites weekly for supervision

• Building strong client relationships and working collaboratively to achieve shared goals

• Ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements

• Reviewing route performance to identify and drive improvements

• Championing a safety-first and continuous improvement culture

• Conduct daily debriefs, team meetings, and toolbox sessions

• Manage rosters, timesheets, and labor allocation

• Problem-solving immediate operational concerns with a solutions-focused approach

• Ensure all staff comply with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, and relevant legislation

• Developing and promoting a safety-first and continuous improvement culture

What you'll need to be successful

• Minimum 2 years' experience leading a team

• Valid driver's licence

• Background in waste management (desirable)

• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data

• Competent computer skills

• A genuine commitment to safety and a positive, can-do attitude
