The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) licensed driver to join our waste collection services team in Echuca - 3464. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, including public holidays, with a 5:00 AM start time.

As our driver, you will provide efficient waste collection services for residential bin collection in the Loddon Shire while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service excellence. The ideal candidate must hold a valid HR license, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and maintain a professional approach to their work.

What you'll be responsible for

• Drive and operate waste/recycle collection vehicles, managing kerbside collections and transport to designated disposal sites

• Ensure workplace health and safety compliance while maintaining a secure working environment

• Service established long-term waste collection contracts with reliability and consistency

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external clients

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal truck operation

What you'll need to be successful

• HR licence as a minimum requirement

• Experience in the waste industry is a bonus but not essential

• Positive attitude

• Safety conscious mindset
