The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ are seeking an Operator to join our vibrant team in Echuca 3564. This role will involve sorting of various waste and recyclable materials in our recovery facility as well as some HR driving, possible forklift, front end loader and telehandler operation.

 

With a day and afternoon shift:

Day shift: 6:00am-2:30pm | Afternoon shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm

What you'll be responsible for

  • Sorting of recyclables into various commodity types.

  • Removal of contamination from a moving conveyor

  • Operation of yard truck 

  • Working safely as part of a team to achieve operational outcomes

  • Ensuring a high standard of quality of sorted recyclables.

  • Check daily instructions and prioritise accordingly to complete work tasks in accordance with required deadlines

What you'll need to be successful

  • HR license (non-synchromesh) required

  • Forklift licensed highly desirable

  • Wheeled loader ticket highly desirable

  • Telescopic material handler operation ticket highly desirable

  • Experience in managing a team desirable

  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time

  • Experience within the waste management sector or processing line work is desirable
