What you'll be responsible for


 

  • Provide strong leadership in all aspects of Health,Environment and Safety management.

  • Assist the team establish its purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Responsible for adhering to all safety policies, plans and procedures

  • Ensure the availability of vehicles and plant in good repair to meet operational requirements

  • Managing external contractors as required

  • Ensure the availability of vehicles and plant in good repair to meet operational requirements

  • Coordinate team meetings,ensuring action items are allocated and completed

  • Ensure that all administrative requirements are addressed in a timely and accurate manner and in line with policy and procedure

What you'll need to be successful


 

  • Heavy Vehicle Licence

  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Licence (Trade Licence) 

  • Tertiary qualifications in business highly desirable 

  • Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations. 

  • Strong leadership being able to effectively work with and supervise your team
