Title:  Diesel Mechanic




You will service, maintain and repair our modern Heavy Rigid Fleet to ensure that all vehicles work to maximum efficiency in a safe and environmentally sound manner in line with regulatory and Veolia requirements.

Our fleet consists of construction waste materials, commercial waste and a wide range of specialised pumping units all vehicles are washed in our fully automated truck wash bay.

You will have a commitment to exceeding customer service expectations and continuous improvement. With a good attitude to health and safety, you will be capable in numeric and literacy skills, a good communicator and have a friendly nature.

Past experience working on Volvo or Isuzu trucks whilst not required will be highly regarded.

Having current HR licences whilst not required is also highly regarded.

What is on offer?

  • Competitive base wage  - $37.50 per hour + Shift Allowance! 
  • Monday to Thursday 3pm to 11.30pm and Fridays 11.30am to 6pm 
  • Afternoon shift allowance of 15% and other applicable allowances ie. tool box and meal allowance 
  • Reasonable overtime where required
  • Opportunity to work with clean, recent models, Heavy Rigid Waste vehicles. The fleet consists of a diverse range of Volvo trucks including Front Lift and Hook models
