Title:  Vehicle Logistics Officer

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is looking for a  Vehicle Logistics Officer (VLO), to join the friendly team, in this role you’ll play a critical role as the first point of contact for our waste drivers and operators to assist with any issues. This role will require you to ensure all drivers perform their duties in a safe manner without risk to health, safety, quality and environment.

Reporting to the Commercial Services Manager the VLO will assist in scheduling, routing and generation of driver runs and will liaise with stakeholders and drivers to provide assistance where required.

This is a full time permanent position based in East Arm 0822.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Coordinating bin collections to maximise route efficiency 
  • Administration including managing driver hours, billing reporting duties across the site 
  • Problem solve by responding to customer issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
  • Respond to any operational queries raised by the Customer Services Team/Sales Team and/or customer
  • Attend daily end of driver shift meetings, capture any incidents or issues


 

What you'll need to be successful
