Join Veolia's Environmental Services team as a Sustainability Specialist supporting Australia's Department of Defence. This pivotal role offers the chance to drive significant environmental change, implementing innovative waste management solutions and sustainability initiatives across major Defence sites to help Defence achieve its ambitious waste recovery targets.

What you'll be responsible for

Implementing waste diversion and recovery programs across key Defence sites

Developing and delivering sustainability education and behavior change initiatives
-
Conducting waste audits and preparing data-driven reports and strategies
-
Building strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and industry partners
-
Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement opportunities
What you'll need to be successful
-
Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Behaviour Change Psychology desired

Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities

Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work autonomously and travel interstate when required

Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance
