The Opportunity:

Due to an expansion in the business, an opportunity for a Crew Leader - Operator has become available working in the Southern Projects team. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the promotion of the Veolia ‘Always Safe’ culture, whilst assisting in the development of the business by delivering results and leadership as a role model for others. Originating from a Mechanical trade background, the successful applicant will have proven problem solving ability, experience integrating with multiple stakeholders (inclusive of clientele), must be well presented, and also be comfortable to work unsupervised. This is a great opportunity to bring your experience of leading the delivery of minor project services.

There is a need to understand and deliver on project deadlines, and have basic understanding of quoting / estimating. Depending on the project needs, there may at times be a need to work away. This position also requires an individual with flexibility to work outside normal working hours.
 

About You: What You'll Need:

In addition to the qualities and skills previously noted, ideally we are looking for someone that will bring the following to the role:

  • Ensure the continual promotion of Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ safety culture
  • Computer literacy, ideally with exposure to Office or Google applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • HR License (desirable)
  • Exposure to heavy plant and equipment (desirable)
  • Exposure to industrial cleaning equipment, inclusive of vacuum loaders & water-jetting (desirable)
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Robust problem-solving & ample decision making abilities
