Title:  Driver - Medical

Location: 

Corio, VIC, AU, 3214

The Opportunity

 

Working in a close-knit, motivated team, you will be required to service Hygiene/Medical customers throughout Geelong and surrounding areas, Melbourne and Regional Victoria, based out of Corio 3214, this role requires some face to face communication.

 

Monday to Friday 3 PM  starts including weekend rostering

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Covering metro and regional Victoria collection and disposal of medical waste 

  • Following the health and safety procedures in regards to managing this type of waste

  • Safely driving the trucks in line with Veolias guidelines

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Previous experience in a driving position is desirable

  • A valid heavy Class Drivers Licence

  • Integrity and a positive attitude 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) 

  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills

  • Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management 

  • Motivation to learn and grow within a team environment
