The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Depot Hand to join our Operations team in Corio - 3214. This exciting role offers the chance to take charge of all onsite yard maintenance, playing a crucial part in keeping our clinical waste treatment facilities running smoothly and efficiently. What you'll be responsible for

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy depot through regular housekeeping
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments in the business unit
  • Promote and uphold workplace safety standards
  • Unload vacuum trucks as needed
  • Assisting drivers as an offsider when needed
  • Provide after-hours assistance when required
  • Report all work-related concerns and issues to the unit Supervisor

 

What you'll need to be successful

  • Valid driver's licence required
  • Forklift license preferred (training available if needed)
  • Strong commitment to safety
