The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Sales Leader - Waste & Recovery Solutions to join our team in Chullora. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the Sales and Waste flows of NSW/ACT Resource Recovery, applying tactical expertise to drive growth and efficiency in our operations.

What you'll be responsible for
- Manage and develop the Sales Team to achieve and exceed targets
- Apply agile tactics to improve customer relationships and profitability
- Monitor market trends and competition to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with Operations team to enhance customer experiences
- Provide total waste management solutions for clients
- Ensure compliance with OH&S and company policies
What you'll need to be successful
- Experience in waste management sales or related field highly desirable
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Team management experience and leadership skills
- Proactive, passionate, and adaptable personality with a tactical mindset
Waste industry experience is highly valued, but candidates who excel in other areas may be considered. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shadow the current role holder for 6 months, providing a comprehensive onboarding experience.
