What you’ll be responsible for
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Resource Recovery you will lead the NSW team and:

Ensure a high level of safety operations, positive environmental outcomes, business growth and profitability

Provide strategic input and leadership to the RR business and customers
-
Contribute to ongoing innovation and continuous improvement

Prepare economic models, business cases and investment papers
-
Own the consultation process with internal and external stakeholders, planning authorities and regulators
What you’ll need to be successful
-
Demonstrable leadership experience in managing and developing a waste, resource recovery or organics business
-
Strong understanding of the market and political context
-
Previous experience with feasibility and due diligence of opportunities
-
Commercially astute with the ability to articulate your vision and influence key decision makers
-
Experience in managing and augmenting a portfolio of assets within NSW
-
Degree qualified in engineering or business or a related field
