The Opportunity


Join Veolia's Resource Recovery team as a Business Development Manager and drive growth in NSW's organic waste management sector. This is an exciting opportunity to lead market development for inbound food waste volumes into EarthPower and organic products from our Woodlawn FOGO and Eastern Creek Garden Organics facilities. You'll build strategic partnerships, expand our market presence across NSW, and make a tangible impact on sustainable resource recovery while representing a global leader in environmental services.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Management and market development of inbound food waste volumes into EarthPower and organic products from our facilities

  • Driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence across NSW

  • Generating leads, establishing client relationships, and representing Veolia with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings

  • Evaluating customer service performance, setting preventative strategies, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues

  • Supporting the overall NSW Organic State Sales strategy and collaborating with sales and operations teams to achieve business goals

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • 3+ years of experience in an equivalent role with similar sales, business development, or account management responsibilities

  • Knowledge of organic inbound and outbound sales markets with demonstrated track record in customer relationship management

  • High-level communication skills (written and verbal) and strong commercial acumen with ability to analyse financial information

  • Proven success in driving and implementing sales strategy across multiple business units and geographical areas
