Title:  Water Treatment Operator

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Water Treatment Operator with Reverse Osmosis (RO) experience to operate and maintain a leachate/waste water water treatment plant in Raymond Terrace. An attractive salary package, which includes overtime paid at an hourly rate, is on offer for the role. What you'll be responsible for

• Operate, monitor and maintain the contaminated water treatment plant.

• Assist the project/process engineers in undertaking improvement and optimisation initiatives.

• Carry out water sampling with a high degree of care to prevent cross contamination.

• Maintain asset integrity by regular inspections, services and testing to ensure maximum uptime.

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met.

• Undertake routine maintenance activities including supervision of work orders and maintaining a spare parts inventory.

What you'll need to be successful

• Experience in water treatment operations.

• A working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and components.

• Previous experience in water sampling and/or testing is highly regarded.

Be able to pass a criminal history check and Department of Defence baseline security clearance.
