The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Wastewater Operator to join our team based in Newcastle NSW 2300. As the Wastewater Operator you will be responsible for operating equipment to ensure the delivery of world class wastewater services across the Hunter Water Contract.

Your Key Responsibilities

● Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment
● Conduct field collection and laboratory analysis of effluent samples
● Contribute to a safety first workplace culture
● Implement and improve organizational business systems, including:

• Contractor management and supervision
• Safety protocols and procedures
• Work instructions and safe systems of work

What you'll bring

● Experience in wastewater treatment plant operations (highly regarded)
● Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment in water industry settings
● Trade qualifications (highly valued)
