Title:  Mechanical Fitter Apprentice 2nd or 3rd Year

The Opportunity

Veolia is looking for a 2nd or 3rd year mechanical fitter apprentice to join our Water Treatment team across the Hunter area. You'll build on the skills you've already learnt whilst working on bigger, more challenging jobs at water and wastewater plants. Work alongside experienced tradies who'll help you learn the ropes whilst keeping critical water systems running for over half a million people.

What you'll be doing


• Help the operations and maintenance teams at water treatment plants
• Use the mechanical skills you've already picked up on maintenance and repair jobs
• Take on more challenging work with less supervision
• Keep building your skills to become a fully qualified tradesperson
• Follow safety rules and help keep everyone safe
• Keep learning through training and on the job experience

What you'll need

• Currently doing your 2nd or 3rd year mechanical fitting apprenticeship
• Some hands on experience with basic maintenance and repairs
• Really interested in mechanical work
• Good work ethic and want to keep learning
