The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Site Supervisor to play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our water treatment plant in Raymond Terrace, ensuring Veolia's projects and site operations are delivered in accordance with health & safety, environmental, legislative, and Veolia corporate obligations.

The role will initially be based in Raymond Terrace with potential for travel to other NSW locations and interstate.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Onsite coordination of plant operations, sub-contractors, maintenance activities and supplier deliveries

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers, subcontractors and regulatory agencies

  • Manage field-based project delivery including labour, equipment, trades, logistics, and other resources

  • Monitoring plant operations and assisting in plant optimisation

  • Managing onsite operators

  • Conducting water quality sampling and ensuring proper procedures are followed

  • Carrying out routine maintenance duties and managing resources, tools, and equipment

  • Participating in safety and environmental management processes

  • Collaborating with team members to achieve continuous improvement of plant processes and systems

What you'll need to be successful

  • Demonstrated experience in the supervision of site operations, specialising in water projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in water treatment operations
  • Practical experience in Quality, Environmental and OH&S Management systems including contractor supervision in field-based or industrial environments
  • Ability to build, foster and maintain positive working relationships with clients, team members, colleagues, external suppliers and regulatory bodies
  • Willingness to travel interstate from time to time
  • Cert III Water Treatment or similar is desired
