The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to join our Environmental Services team based in the Gold Coast (Burleigh Heads). You’ll drive new business development across the region, identifying waste management opportunities for SME customers while building meaningful customer relationships to create long-term value. This is a high-impact sales role where you'll combine field-based prospecting with strategic account management, leveraging modern technology to accelerate growth and your career.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Drive new business growth and expand existing accounts through strategic prospecting, site visits, and relationship building across a defined and manageable Gold Coast region
  • Visit customers across the region to build strong relationships, identify growth opportunities and provide tailored waste management solutions
  • Prepare quotations, complete online risk assessments and accurately manage customer information within internal systems
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to ensure customer accounts are set up correctly and services are activated seamlessly
  • Monitor customer activity, analyse system data and resolve issues to ensure an outstanding customer experience
  • Work closely with Operations to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes

 

What you'll need to be successful

  • A genuine enthusiasm for sales and a hunger to grow your career
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage customer information and opportunities effectively
  • Early-career, transitioning into sales, or emerging from customer service, bring your ambition and drive. You'll get genuine mentorship and support to fast-track your success
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a customer-first approach
  • Confidence working across multiple systems and accurately managing customer information
  • You're comfortable navigating CRM systems with ease and have an intuitive grasp of technology (Salesforce experience is highly regarded)
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work autonomously
  • Waste management experience is a plus, but we're more interested in your potential—we invest in developing talent and welcome diverse experience
