Title:  Risk and Compliance Officer

The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking a dedicated Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team at the Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme in Bundamba, 4304. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and security of critical water infrastructure.

As the Risk & Compliance Officer you will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring the pipeline corridor to ensure the security and integrity of pipeline and land assets are maintained to the highest standards. This role combines technical expertise with environmental stewardship.

What you'll be responsible for

• Conduct regular surveillance inspections of pipeline corridors for leaks and structural issues
• Monitor and report on weed infestations, erosion impacts, and land management issues
• Interface with landholders and stakeholders to maintain positive community relations
• Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems for documentation and reporting
• Participate in after hours on call roster
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

What you'll need to be successful

• Basic Mechanical Maintenance background
• Experience in Commercial or Community Land Restoration projects
• Understanding of Quality, Environmental and OH&S systems
