The Opportunity
We are seeking an Administration Purchasing Assistant (Fabrication) to join our dynamic team in Bunbury, WA. This role is central to ensuring all parts and materials for fabrication jobs are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting our operational excellence

What you'll be responsible for
-
Responsible for co-ordination of all receivable goods into the store, including
-
all documentation relating to the task
-
Ensuring that purchasing procedures, as per company QMS is adhered to
-
Management of inventory for client contracts including documentation and
-
certification
-
Plan all goods inwards needed in time to suit job priority.

Issue jobs, when ready, to the Supervisors / Leading hands for execution.

Ensure that job history and costing is kept accurate.
-
Liaise with sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers as required.

Assist the Supervisors when emergency work is required to be carried out.

Type up quotations, letters, memo’s for clients as required

Assist Managers with adhering to client delivery expectations
-
Transfer inventory items to jobs.

Maintain good supplier relationships
-
Ensure Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance
-
General Office duties as required
What you'll need to be successful
-
Live in Bunbury WA or surrounding suburbs
-
A ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn
-
Experience in a customer service role
-
Strong computer skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Professional phone manner and customer-focused attitude.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise workloads.

Current driver's licence
