Title:  Operator - Plant

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a multi skilled Plant Operator to join our team in Brooklyn -3012, VIC. 

As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of both fixed and mobile equipment throughout our facility. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of productivity and safety.

What you'll be responsible for

• Operate fixed and mobile plant equipment safely

• Process waste materials using various treatment methods

• Participate in safety initiatives and procedure development

•  Maintain a clean and safe work area

What you'll need to be successful

• Forklift licence

• Mechanical experience associated with process pumps, valves, fittings & pipework, desirable

• SCADA, desirable

• Experience in the waste industry is a bonus but not essential

• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment

• Safety conscious mindset

• Undergo to a medical assessment and drug & alcohol test
