The Opportunity

 


Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Officer to join the Brooklyn onsite team. You will be supporting a high paced team efficiently processing administrative and adhoc tasks. 

 

Monday - Friday - Site Based role

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Review VAMS system ensuring scheduled maintenance is planned, executed on time with accurate data entry

  • Process purchase orders, work orders, DVRs and facilitate equipment servicing administration

  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers, manage relationships and review service agreements/pricing

  • Manage telematics applications and fleet management providers including SG Fleet

  • Support weekly/monthly billing, job trackers, payroll backup and purchase orders for IS Business

  • Perform data entry across multiple platforms (Google, Excel, SAP) and provide adhoc admin support for Victorian contracts 

  • Verify fleet and equipment services comply with regulations, ethical standards and all safety policies

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Background in transport/logistics, fleet/asset maintenance or similar administrator role with Certificate III in Business or equivalent

  • Demonstrated experience generating detailed reports, high-level data analysis, and reviewing/drafting processes and procedures

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask, work to deadlines and prioritize multiple issues simultaneously

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels

  • Self-motivated problem solver able to work under pressure and without supervision with professional customer-focused approach

  • Intermediate proficiency in Word/Excel/Google suites with excellent planning, organisation and time management skills

  • A strong focus on health and safety
