Title:  Field Engineer

The Opportunity

Veolia Water Operations is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our team in the Surat Basin (Chinchilla 4413 /Wandoan 4419) region. This role supports our long term Operations and Maintenance contract with Shell QGC's water treatment facilities.

As Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Engineering Technical Subject Matter Experts to ensure the safe and efficient operation of two water treatment facilities. You'll be responsible for implementing inspection programs, managing contractors, and maintaining asset integrity.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead and coordinate annual mechanical inspection programs
• Manage field inspections across mechanical, electrical, and civil assets
• Develop and update Mechanical Integrity Inspection Plans
• Participate in shutdown planning and execution
• Manage critical corrective maintenance activities
• Conduct engineering investigations and root cause analysis
• Oversee Management of Change processes
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Engineering Degree (Civil or Mechanical preferred)
  
  

Desired Experience:

• Industrial asset maintenance and inspection

• Engineering project management

• Experience with engineering processes and safe systems of work
